Lighting the New King’s Cross Station
Project brief
A.C. Special Projects were tasked to provide lighting to produce ‘a perfectly beautiful flow of light’ across the white geodesic curvature of King’s Cross Station’s new western concourse in the heart of London.
Control system and fixtures were specified so the colour scheme could be easily changed for special occasions. The facility was provided to switch fixtures on and off at pre-specified times and according to concourse lighting levels.
“It’s been great for us to be involved in another London landmark project for visitors to see for years to come!” – Lance Bromhead, Managing Director, A.C. Special Projects.
